4/15/2024 0 Comments Wii homebrew channel not loading![]() ![]() I'm running everything off of a 2GB Kingston SD card, along with a 16GB Transcend USB drive for games (I'm aware that harddrives are more reliable, but I don't have the funds to buy one atm). It's running Homebrew Channel 1.1.0 with IOS58 v24.32. I’ve checked the SD card and everything appears to be in the right place, I also opened Mii Maker as I’m pretty sure it has something to do with using hid to vpad. My Wii is a European console (PAL), running 4.3E. When opening homebrew launcher (wii u), the launcher opens fine, but no apps appear and all I’m met with is a blue background with floating bubbles. I have no idea whether or not the Homebrew Browser even works anymore, but my guess is that it doesn't? ![]() When it crashes, the Wiimote vibrates constantly and it gives me an "Exception (DSI) occurred!" error. The only channel that works is the Homebrew Browser, however there are no icons for the downloads, all of the dates are on, and all of the downloadable files are 0.0 megabytes big. ![]() It works with a Gamecube controller, but I'd prefer for it to work with a Wiimote (which it has in the past) because it'd be more convenient. When I push a button on the Wiimote, it (sometimes) flashes as if you pressed a button when the Wii is turned off, and then it turns off. One thing I've noticed is that I can load the Homebrew Channel without any problems, but as soon as I open anything inside of it (USB Loader GX, Tinyload, Wiiflow, WAD Manager, you name it), the Wiimote stops working entirely. However, whenever I run the HBC, it gets stuck at a black loading. Confirm your intentions by clicking 'Yes, continue' or click 'no, take me back' if you change your mind. I had to do a hard power off to get it to respond. Click 'install the Homebrew Channel' to begin. Say Yes to installing IOS51 and Yes to patching a fix but No to the Wii Shop Channel.' is what I think the issue is. I recently dusted off my Wii after not touching it for a few years. The 2nd to last step '+Load 'Install Shop IOS51'. ![]()
